Workflow : Demo14 - Document Template creation and Use in Work flow

Post Summary: Document template allows you to create any word doc/excel shett/ppt/pdf etc with predefined information to be sent to a business user form the work flow.


  • Goto Tx- SWDD and create a work flow and save it. Provide a name and description and continue.













  • Choose document templates.

  • Now double click to create.





  • Select word doc.



  • Provide some info and save.

  • Provide a title and continue.





  • Go Back.

  • Now we finished with creation of a word template. Again double click to create a excel template.



  • Select change doc class.





  • Select Excel.



  • Provide some info and save.

  • Provide some title and continue.



  • Go Back.



  • We are done with creation of two document template. Now define Step as Document from template.





  • provide a step name and assign the document templates that already created by the F4 help.



  • Provide the agent who will receive the document template and continue.



  • Check Tx- SBWP.



  • Activate and run the work flow.

  • Test the work flow.





  • Here two templates send to the agent.



  • Here we have mail with the doc template. Double click to view.











  • Check the workflow log.
